Enjoy a full day of free activities, entertainment and rainbow joy at Bingley Pride on August 16th.
Bingley Pride kicks off 1pm with a grand opening ceremony in front of Bingley Arts Centre, featuring special guest Juno Dawson, a local author and screenwriter. We’ll then have a big old march through Bingley town centre - so please bring along your placards, flags and other bits for this.
After the march, we’ve got all sorts of gay delights back at the Arts Centre, including stalls where you can buy goodies, fabulous performers strolling about, and a designated youth area. Stand-out features of the daytime event include a live drag makeup tutorial, a story hour for the kids, and a meet-and-greet with our gorgeous headliner, Charra Tea of Ru Paul’s Drag Race.
In the wider Bingley town, cafes and bars will be putting on their own Pride drinks, cakes and more during the day.
At 7pm, our ticketed 18+ evening show kicks off - where you can expect performances from the incredible Doll’s Haus drag performers and our headliner Charra Tea.
The evening show ends at 10 - but if you’re not quite ready for the party to end, then you can head on down to our official afterparty at Mavericks 80s Lounge to dance the night away.
