While Bingley Pride itself is certain to be the biggest event of the year, we’ve got plenty of other wonderful activities to keep the LGBTQIA+ folk of Bingley (and their chums) busy in the meantime.
From glittering drag shows to brilliant open mic nights and more, there’s plenty to get excited for as we head toward the greatest event in all of Yorkshire - Bingley Pride!
Bingley Pride Afterparty
Finish off a fabulous Pride at our afterparty, held at local nightclub Mavericks. Entry is free before 11pm, or free all night for our Evening Show ticket holders. Expect 80s, 90s and early 2000s tunes to shake your booty to, plus a menu of Pride themed cocktails, including one for every colour of the rainbow!
Bingley Pride
Get ready for the first-ever Bingley Pride! The day’s festivities will begin with a march through Bingley town, followed by a fantastic programme of performers, workshops and stalls at Bingley Arts Centre.
Bingley Pride: Evening Show
Bingley Pride’s spectacular evening show is not to be missed! Put together by Doll’s Haus, our incredible entertainment partners, it’s a night of drag, debauchery and chaos. Starring queens including Angel Bites, Anita Biff, Trash, Miss Embers, Cole Mines and the fabulous Haus mother, Doll’s Nest, our evening show will be headlined by the one and only Charra Tea of Ru Paul’s Drag Race. Held in Bingley Arts Centre’s Theatre Upstairs, tickets are just £5 and the event is strictly 18+.
A Very Musical West End Brunch
Drag AND musical theatre? Yes please! At this magnificent drag brunch, you’ll see the Doll’s Haus and Trash Events gangs perform to your favourite West End hits and Broadway bangers.
Drag Factor
The search for Bingley’s newest drag superstar begins this May. Judged and hosted by the one and only Doll’s Nest, of Doll’s Haus fame, we’ll have wannabe Queens, Kings and Things showing us what they’ve got.
The event is free to attend. With Round 1 on May 29th, Round 2 on June 9th, the Semi Final on 12th June and the Grand Final on June 19th!
Open Mic Night
Come and see all the talent our fabulous town of Bingley has to offer! Bingley Pride’s Open Mic night is all about shining a light on the gifted folks of Bingley, allowing them to take to the stage in The Theatre Upstairs at our very own Bingley Arts Centre.
Pride Poetry Fundraiser
Queer folk and poetry go together like cheese and chips, so we're putting on a Pride Poetry Fundraiser. Whether you're itching to perform or just want to listen to some gorgeous verse, tickets are just £6!
